Ten on Tuesday...

I'm trying out something that lots of other good bloggers I know do called Ten on Tuesday. My hope is that I'll at least blog once a week! ;) It's just sharing ten random things that are going on in your world.

1. I've made the decision to actually finish my BA. Now I just need to write my admissions essay. Ugh.

2. I love blogs. I have almost 200 in my google reader. If you don't have google reader and you love blogs, you've GOT to get it. Seriously.

3. My goddaughter's not a baby anymore! I hadn't seen her in a year until Sunday. She's gone from being this round, funny, chunkzilla baby to this GORGEOUS little girl! And I thought I couldn't love her anymore than I already did. How wrong I was!

4. Having my mom around is fun. Do I want to live with her forever? Heck no! But I'm enjoying her visit immensely. She's going home tomorrow. :(

5. Sunday was also the first time I've seen my great-grandma's headstone. It's hard. I miss her SO MUCH and selfishly want her back. But she's in a better place than me, so I'll just have to go missing her. It was weird to see her name on a stone in a cemetery.

6. I love love love my new job. It's SO AWESOME. My boss is the best ever! I go home at the end of each exhausted, but happy. No more raging in the vanshare every day!

7. Commuting by train is the only way to go. It's SO much better than the bus. Way less weirdos and creepy folks.

8. I want to paint my bathroom some shade of purple. Almost any of the colors in Lisa's post today would work - http://happilyeverafterinseattle.blogspot.com/2008/08/plum-delighted.html. Jake says no. What does he know about color?!?

9. Tonight we're having dinner with my mom, brothers, grandparents, uncle, mom's friend from high school and maybe my cousin. Should be a good time! If everyone behaves that is. ;)

10. Jake ROCKED summer quarter. He added a 4.0 in philosophy to his collection, along with a 3.9 in trigonometry. My sweet husband is brilliant AND a great student.

I am so blessed. :D
