Once again, epic fail in the blogging department...

I really, honestly thought that after school I'd somehow find time to blog. Apparently not since it's been TWO MONTHS. And the best thing that's happened in those two months... I became an auntie!!!!!! I have two brothers and my husband has three brothers, but no babies until my brother-in-law and his lovely wife welcomed their little girl earlier this month.

The whole family is so totally in love with her. Even my sweet husband, who normally doesn't enjoy babies, totally adores her. We are so blessed.

Another new baby... another new love :)

I have a thing for babies. A SERIOUS thing. Especially the babies of my nearest and dearest. I was anxiously awaiting 3 little ones this fall and was thrilled when the last little guy made his arrival last weekend. Meet Peyton...

I could have loved on this baby girl forever. She was SO SWEET on Saturday. She belongs to the wonderful and amazingly talented Susan of Whimsical Photo Design. We also had Jess of Jessica Hamlin Photography with us. It's so interesting to see other photographers work. I also love seeing the same subject/setup through different lenses. :)

Welcome little girl...

My friend Sarah gave birth to a beautiful little girl last month, Nelia Jane. I got to spend some time with her earlier this month. You'd never know from these images how irritated she was with me. ;) Sarah & Patrick, I hope that girl starts letting you get some sleep!

Meet Logan...

Logan Grant arrived on Friday, February 13th. We spent Sunday afternoon together. I'm in love. He's just wonderful. I could have snuggled him FOREVER. He sure didn't want to have ANYTHING to do with modeling for me though. Stinker! Mom & Dad, I hope you enjoy the few we were able to get out of him!

She didn't feel like sleeping much while I was there, but she's still just as sweet as can be.

I've got lots more to edit, enjoy these for now! I completely ignored my homework last night because I couldn't resist this face. ;)

Miss Maddy was awake like this for much of the time I was there. Aren't those big blue eyes so pretty?! I could have snuggled her for hours on end. :)

My good friend Deb of The Squishy Chronicles gave birth to her GORGEOUS little girl Mikayla Jean last week. Mikayla arrived on June 17th, weighing in at 11lbs 6oz and 21 inches long. Yup, that's a nearly 11 and a half pound baby. She's just perfect. I'm completely in love with her already. :) I got to visit in the hospital last week as well as stop by yesterday afternoon. Here's the trick to hanging out with brand new babies... Bring mom and dad food! They're tired and completely focused on their little one, so they need all the TLC they can get.
