1. Free food rocks. :D Our HR office hosted their annual summer picnic today. I enjoyed a garden burger, some salad and watermelon. I looooooove watermelon. Yum!
2. My friend Heather is having a little girl. I'm so excited for her!!!! I can't wait for another pink bundle of joy to snuggle. You can never have too many!
3. I love Jake's breaks from school. My sweet, generous, wonderful husband becomes human again. Summer's my favorite since it's the longest. I think it's so students forget how stressed they were in June. ;)
4. I started listening to Pandora a few weeks ago, it's awesome! I like having a mix of my favorite artists.
5. Facebook is superior to myspace. Seriously. I LOVE Facebook. The status updates, becoming a fan of people/places/etc, playing Scrabble (though the Hasbro version sucks), everything! Every one should be on Facebook. Yes, just because I said so. :P
6. I've been SO spoiled lately... Not only did I have my mom for a week, my grandparents in town for 10 days, but my BFF was here from Alaska with my goddaughter. I had the best time just hanging out with everyone. SO awesome!
7. I love snack bars. As long as they're 1-2 Weight Watchers points. If any of you are new to my blog/life, I lost 100+ lbs on the WW Flex Points program. If you're interested in seeing before pictures, leave me a comment! My current favorite bars are: Kashi Go Lean Crunchy Chocolate Caramel, GNU Foods Flavor & Fiber - Cinnamon Raisin & Orange Cranberry are especially good, Fiber One Strawberry & Almond and Curves Chocolate Peanut. They're all tasty and take care of a different need/craving. ;)
8. I miss running. :'( I took a few weeks off because of some knee pain. I hope to get back to it in September so I can participate in the Seattle Half Marathon at the end of November.
9. We have to start planning the holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas) SUPER early with my in-laws every year. Their availability is determined by her work schedule. It's nice, but it always seems to mean Jake and I *cougharguecough* talk about it longer than we need to. Things are a little tricky this year since Jake's brother is getting married the Monday after Thanksgiving. Yes, on Monday. ;)
10. I love my family. Each and every one of them, nut cases included. ;) They all bring a different joy to my world.
*whew* I started writing this in the afternoon, I almost forgot to finish and post it! The next hurdle... Blogging again before next Tuesday. :P
