Last edition of 10 on Tuesday for October!

1. Jake's growing a mustache for Halloween. It's totally gross and creepy. If he doesn't shave it before coming to bed that night he will be in BIG trouble!

2. My student staff have assured me that things are going to explode next week due to undergrad advising. Oh joy.

3. I went on a retreat with my mother-in-law's church this last weekend. It was awesome. We learned much about the names of God. I'm working on a slideshow of pictures, hopefully they won't take too long to edit!

4. I lost a scrabble game to Adam. That stings. I've gotten used to wasting him! :P Love you bro. ;)

5. Attended my first admin asst lunch today with my college... Interesting mix of peeps that's for sure.

6. I really hate it when the inside of my ear itches and won't stop. SO ANNOYING.

7. I'm hopeful that I'm back on track with my running. Now I just need to lay off the second bowl of ice cream in the evenings!

8. We're having my BFF's mom's recipe for shredded pork tonight for dinner. It's SO simple and SO delicious. I can't wait! It will be a great treat after running.

9. Our washing machine died last night. In the last few months we've been through two dryers and now a washer. Granted, these are the set that we didn't expect to get with the house plus an old dryer of my dad's, but still. Ugh. So, Jake picked out a new one today and it will be delivered this weekend. Now I just have to get the soap out of the clothes that were in the washer!

10. My daddy made me cry a little today. Not in a mean way. He wrote a letter to my late grandpa. You can read it here. Also, let this serve as a reminder to my dad that I am NOT writing anything like this for a LONG LONG LONG time. Except perhaps for the wake next year. ;)
