10 on Tuesday is back!

I know, I missed last week. I was busy. ;)

1. This is the first blog from the new to me MacBook Pro that UPS delivered yesterday. I'm in love.

2. We had a good Christmas. Not my all time favorite, but you can't expect the best experience ever each year right??

3. I survived the 10+ days known as Snowpocalypse or Snowmegeddon. Most of the days I was stranded at home while Jake was out on the road getting TVs delivered. I'm SO THANKFUL he stayed so safe. And we did get one snow day together which was awesome.

4. I'm doing a weird food thing January. Basically I'll be eating Vegan with NO sugar/sugar substitutes. And drinking only water. Um yeah... Those closest to me know that I am HOOKED on Dt. Pepsi (drink somewhere between 3 cans and 2 liters each day, insane I know) and that I have a love affair with ice cream. So in preparation for this, I'm making my grandma's green mint salad tomorrow (pineapple, crushed dinner mints, marshmallows, lime jello and cool whip). Sounds weird, but it's SO GOOD. I've missed it.

5. Going to AZ this week didn't pan out. I'm really sad. I LOVE spending the week between Christmas & New Years with my mom and grandma. I was so bummed out on my way to my ILs on Christmas day that I had a little cry.

6. I think it's an extremely good thing I'm doing the food thing in January... I've eaten like CRAP since Christmas eve. So many Christmas cookies, pumpkin bars, Turducken, how could I resist?

7. I think I'm just about caught up on editing pics. WHOA November and December were crazy. Off the charts. Next year I'll have to make a few changes.

8. We had Jake's brother and his girlfriend over for dinner tonight. They live in Dallas, so it was a treat just to be able to chill with them! I ADORE his girlfriend. She's affectionately known as the T-Unit. Why, I can't say, but once the boys start something, it usually sticks around. Sorry girl!

9. Mikayla is coming over tomorrow for her 6 month pics. I can't wait to see her! She's SO snuggable. :)

10. And to round out the week, my dear, dear friend Jaime got married on Sunday. She was a STUNNING bride. I feel so blessed to have been included in her special day. Here are a couple of quick snapshots:
