Welcome to my blog! I started this blog as a place to document my journey as a photographer. It's evolved over the last couple of years to include some random musings and a glimpse of what's going with me. If you have any feedback, comments or thoughts, please leave them! Just below you will find quick links to categories of my work. Enjoy!

10 on Tuesday er Thursday

1. We had a BUSY weekend... Laser tag & dinner out on Friday, Saturday I had an afternoon GTG with friends and then the Lucile Street Ho Ho Ho-Down and Sunday I was snowed in! I got so much done on Sunday.

2. The Ho Ho Ho-Down was a scene. So many tasty treats! I fell for 2 regular chocolate chip cookies, 3 mini cookies, lots of chex mix and some roasted pepper cheeseball. YUM. I think I gained 5lbs. In the middle of the Ho-Down it started snowing like crazy!

3. I'm finally ordering our Christmas cards. Ugh! I'm sorry to any of you who get them after Christmas. It's been one of those months. They're arriving in Seattle tomorrow. Now I just have to figure out if we can get them.

4. My work finally shut down at 11am today. At least they've already told us that they're closed tomorrow too. I did manage to get some work done from home - go me!

5. I have plans to do some maternity pics for one of my girls on Saturday and 6 month pics for one of my other girls girl on Sunday (follow that?) I sure hope our insane weather doesn't interrupt. I've already had to reschedule one of them because of snow last weekend.

6. Jake wants to go to Olympia tomorrow... I think that might be insane. Doesn't mean we won't do it.

7. For our wedding, Jake's wonderful parents gifted us with a wood burning stove for our faulty fireplace. It's one of my favorite things about our house. It might only be 20 degrees outside, but it's a toasty 80+ in our living room. I had to take off my layers! Those that know me will testify that I am rarely seen in less than 3 layers, especially this time of year. Love that stove.

8. Jake was planning to go on a ride along with a friend of ours who is a SPD officer. Unfortunately, the snow prevented our friend from making it into the city. Bummer! Jake was really looking forward to it.

9. I'm getting a new (to me) computer!!!!!!! No more begging my sweet husband to use his laptop. I'll have my very own. Just in time for school! And it's a mac. That will be a learning curve. ;) I can't wait until it arrives.

10. A little holiday cheer from me and a couple of my favorite guys...
