Ten on Tuesday

1. I have to get my wisdom teeth out. :( They've come in so far on the right side that I (unknowingly) have been biting the inside of my cheek. It hurts.

2. Tomorrow I have a big event at work. I hope I didn't forget anything imperative. Ugh.

3. I spent Saturday night in Portland. Go P-Town! Even though dark, smoky bars aren't my scene, I had a good time with my bro and his people. Yes, I took some pics, but my desktop is toast at the moment. And unfortunately this highly efficient laptop has the worst color ever. Grrrr.

4. For the last few years I've been fortunate enough to go to AZ right after Christmas to spend a few days with my mom's family. I don't know if it's going to work out this year or not. I hope so, but it's not looking very likely right now.

5. One of my girls got some bad news today. I'm sad for her family.

6. Pretty soon here we enter fire season. I can't wait. I LOVE our wood stove. Thanks again Steve & Joann!

7. I'm almost done with my admissions essay for school. If all goes well, I'll be back to it in January.

8. I lost a scrabble game to my brother for the first time in AGES. Dang.

9. I think I may have elected to watch too many TV shows this fall... I don't know if I'll be able to keep up. I suppose I don't really need to spend all my time in front of the TV anyway. ;)

10. This weekend we're hosting the 2nd annual pumpkin patch + carving event at our house. One of my SILs may not be able to make it, but a few other folks might. It should be FUN! I love traipsing around the patch looking for just the right pumpkin. We just have to decide what patch.
